Tricks Of The Trade; Effortless Beachy Waves

UK waters are know for being pretty darn cold so only those bravest will be seen body boarding & surfing waves, but it doesn't mean we don't want those Californian beachy waves that are all the rage - But if you can't be arsed to spend 30 minutes playing with a curling tong, we have the perfect D.I.Y sea salt spray making this beauty hack a must for the summer! From Malibu to Margate, this is the sea salt spray that will give you tousled, effortless, beachy waves without stepping foot on a beach.

You will need:

A mini spray bottle (a travel one is perfect!)

1 Cup of distilled water

1 tbsp Sea Salt

1 tsp Aloe Vera Gel

1 tbsp Fractionated Coconut Oil

6 Drops Grapefruit essential oil

Step 1. Add the water with the salt & give it a good shake. You want it to start dissolving in the water.

Step 2. Mix the coconut oil & the aloe vera together and add to the water mixture.

Step 3. Add a few drops of an essential oil. Shake the bottle again, and voila! You've got homemade sea salt spray. Apply to towel-dried hair.
